Deliverables:
Brand / Website
Brief:
Create a refreshed identity and website, and integrate with an easy-to-manage directory and film database.

Following on from our work on the Documentary Film Council, we were given the opportunity to refresh the brand and website for the Radical Film Network. The network is an international hub for people and organisations involved in politically-engaged and aesthetically innovative film.

The brief included a quick polish of the existing brand, and a revamp of the website including improvements to the user directory and film database. RFN faced challenges with their outdated website, particularly in streamlining their film database submission process and enhancing the user experience of their directory.

We redesigned and rebuilt the RFN website using WordPress, ensuring a more user-friendly interface and improved functionality. We also implemented a simplified and intuitive film submission process. Filmmakers could now easily upload their film entries through a user-friendly interface, which pre-filled a draft post on the backend. This allowed the admin to still retain publishing control over the content of the database.

We integrated an improved map and list view feature into the directory. This provided users with options to explore based on their preferences, either visually through the map or via a comprehensive list, significantly improving the browsing experience.
